Iara Rachelle

Iara Rachelle was born on July 10th at 6:08pm. Mommy was induced at 9:00am and had a bit of a slow start, once the epidural was given, this mommy was ready to push and welcomed Iara to the world after one "practice" push and a ten minute wait for the doc and one final push. Seriously, ONE push. wow!

Whatever...

Here is a new pic of baby number three. The doctor wanted to check the growth and all that, so at 31 weeks, our little tater tot is 4lbs. 4oz.

Renzie finally lost a tooth!! She was so happy about that. Her big tooth has already come in behind the baby teeth, ugh, can anyone say, "time for a visit to the dentist, again"

New Dresses

The girls' coordinated Easter dresses, compliments of grandma. All three of her granddaughters wore coordinated outfits this year. Just too bad we couldn't get all three of them together. Maybe next year.

So, 26 Weeks...

Sorry, no pics. I really don't "look" pregnant until I am just about to bust. I just look regularly chunky, aka fat. Things are progressing well and normally. Still measuring the appropriate size and all that good stuff. Hoping that the Lovenox doesn't make for a teeny tiny. Don't know what I would do with a baby smaller than 8 pounds. :)

Cheya was sick over the weekend and finally completely back to normal. I am dreading it getting around to anyone else. I really hope I don't get it, I can't handle being sick right now. Looks like Nick may be the next one to come down with it anyway.

All for now, just wanted to post the various asundry details of my life...

We know!!

So, yesterday was a busy day for this busy mommy. I went to school with Cheya in the morning to be class helper. I love those days, but it really wears me out, especially with me being pregnant and they only have little kid chairs.

Then yesterday afternoon, we went for the untrasound. The girls were so excited and not at all disappointed by the amazingly not clear pics that you see on a typical ultrasound. The pics are at home so I will post one later. I told the tech to let us know what it was, if she could tell, but not say it out loud. We didn't want the girls to know yet. I am excited and happy and a little surprised. If that reaction gives you a clue, than so be it, but we are not revealing just yet. :)

Have a great day everyone!!

Odds 'N' Ends

Ok, just a quick update on a few things...

The potty training is complete. Cheya has not had an accident in quite awhile and she really enjoys being a "big girl." She is just about ready to experiment with sleeping through the night in big girl pants unstead of a pull up.

Thursday is the day!! I have my first "official" ultrasound. We will hopefully be able to find out what we are having. I may, or may not, let you know. :) The girls are really excited about getting to go. They are so happy to get to "see" the baby. Cheya is constantly loving on my tummy and talking to tater tot. They are having a dispute about what we want. Cheya wants a little sister and Renzie wants a little brother. Little does Cheya know, but we are also rooting for a boy. Although I don't know what I would do with a boy, I am so used to girls. And of course, we will be happy no matter.

I'll try and keep you posted. :)

Potty Training... Complete!?!

She has not had any accidents in a week! We are going strong and she was even sick this weekend/ weeks beginning. Hooray for my "big" little girl!!

Potty Training, Still...

Today is day #5 of big girl panties and only one accident in all of that!! Here is my diaper and the changing of break before the little one arrives in July. Hooray!! Cheya is such a big girl now, but prefers to sleep in her pull-up. Although she nearly always wakes up dry. Now it is time for "fancy" big girl panties!!

Potty Training #2

Okay, so yesterday there was an accident. Hmmmm..... But we are sticking with it and today is good so far. She is wearing her favorite Dora panties and it would be a crying shame if she got those wet. Or worse.

Potty Training

I think we may have another "big" girl in our house. I had all but given up with Cheya and the potty training. But I thin it is my fault and would "let" her have accidents because she would wear a pull-up for half the day. Well, yesterday that ended. Yesterday she wore big girl panties all day long. To school, at the store and all afternoon and evening at home. NO accidents. I think she was really proud of herself as well. Ms. Tifany, her pre-school teacher, mentioned that she liked her big girl panties and that is when Cheya spilled the beans about becoming a big sister this summer. So, today is day two of panties all day. Hooray!! And she knows that she is a big girl who will be a big sister. She is so excited and I am so happy to only deal with pull-ups at night. I was certainly hoping for a break from "changing the kid" before the baby comes along. wheww!

(he he, she was mid blink in this pic)

Long time.... no post

So I haven't posted in awhile... but if anyone who reads this has facebook, you already know... my newest news.

I am expecting baby number three in mid-july! We are super ecstatic and happy about this. Renzie and Cheya are hoping for a little brother, but we will take what we get and be blessed. It is alot of fun to share this experience with my girls, who just love to kiss and hug my tummy and say "good morning" or "good night" to the tater tot. (yes, we call our unborn child tater tot. It was just supposed to be tot, but Cheya liked my analogy that the baby was the size of a tater tot.) The girls will be 7 and 4 by the time this baby makes their appearance. What a fun age and good helpers too. So look back every once in awhile for an update.
